Sometimes the old ways of doing things can't be beat. I recently learned some fascinating ways working with wood using age-old classic woodworking methods, avoiding modern technology dedicated to mass production. Using Old-World techniques, I incorporated Dowel, Mortise and Tenon Joints, elimination the need for nails or screws in making this bench. This bench can be made to any length and/or height out of new or repurposed wood per the customers choice.
The pool-rack holder to the right was made from an old backyard cedar swing.
